TERMS AND CONDITIONS

VALIDITY AND ACCEPTANCE

A quotation is valid for 30 Days from the date of quotation. A quotation is only valid by emailed confirmation to The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd). Work will only proceed on receipt of the email confirmation.

 

PAYMENT, INTEREST AND RETENTIONS

The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd) reserves the right to request a 50% deposit with quotation acceptance and the balance paid on a strict 7 day invoice once work is completed. 

 

The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd)  reserves the right to charge interest on all overdue payments, compounding monthly at 5% of the invoice balance.

The client is not entitled to deduct, set off or retain any amounts or withhold retentions from payments, unless otherwise specified in a quotation.

 

VARIATIONS 

Any variation to a quotation must be agreed in writing by the client and The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd).

 

CALL BACKS  

If factors beyond The Lineman's (Global Roadmarking Ltd) control prohibiit completing the job on agreed day/time, The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd) reserves the right to charge a $100 call back fee.

 

DISCLAIMER

The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd) undertakes to exercise all reasonable care in minimising damage to the client’s property. Allowance has NOT been made for the following conditions, unless otherwise specified in this quotation:

Any repairs to the surface following high prerssure water removal.

If during the course of work, any of the conditions under clause COSTS is encountered, The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd) will cease work immediately and supply the client with an estimate of costs to overcome it. The client is entitled to accept the estimate or terminate the work. In the event of termination, the client will pay The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd) all costs incurred for work carried out to the date of termination and for any work required to reinstate the property.

The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd) accepts no responsibility for damage to any surfaces or adjacent property, unless otherwise specified in this quotation

 

COSTS

The client shall pay all costs, charges, and expenses (including legal costs) incurred by The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd)  in consequence of or in connection with any breach or default by the client in the performance of any of these terms and conditions.

 

PLANS AND BOUNDARIES

The client must provide The Lineman (Global Roadmarking Ltd) with copies of all site plans relevant to the site and works.

The client is responsible for defining all boundary and survey marks/pegs necessary for the completion of the works.
